Dan Stanger is Of Counsel to the firm. Dan adds 35 years of experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications to the Conley Rose team. His core experience includes drafting and prosecuting patent applications in electrical, mechanical, communications, and software technologies.
Dan is fluent in all phases of patent procurement, from invention harvesting and inventor counseling through appellate practice at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). He also brings extensive experience with Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) and foreign patent practice.
Prior to joining the firm, Dan served as outside counsel to a large Japanese electronics company for over 20 years. He was also a founding shareholder and president for two international intellectual property boutique law firms. The latter firm was recognized as a worldwide top-20 IP firm by both IAM Magazine and Ocean Tomo.
As a professional philosophy, Dan believes in the paramount value of collaborative interpersonal communication. He therefore guides his client’s applications with extensive rounds of inventor and management input and conducts thorough in-person Examiner interviews.
