Mr. Fay received a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from the University of California San Diego in 1992. He earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from The University of Denver College of Law in 1997.
Mr. Fay specializes in patent application preparation and prosecution before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He has extensive experience in a variety of technical areas including computer hardware, software and storage systems, as well as electrical systems, aircraft components, contact lenses, traffic signals and others. His expertise extends to medical devices (catheters, biopsy devices, laparoscopic instruments), chemical mechanical planarization devices (wafer carriers and polishing and grinding machines), as well as virtual reality systems, electrical systems and others.
Mr. Fay is admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and is licensed by the State of California.
