Elexis Jones has over ten years’ experience practicing intellectual property law. She prepares and prosecutes patents in the United States (U.S.) and in other countries around the world.
She has considerable experience in the electrical and computing arts, including telecommunications, computer systems and software, and electrical devices. For example, Elexis has patented hundreds of inventions and innovations relating to telecommunications products and services and supporting software and infrastructure, business methods, electronic commerce, search software, enterprise security and vulnerability software, data security software, artificial intelligence, user interfaces, and blockchain, as well as mechanical devices and medical devices.
She also assists clients with intellectual property licensing matters, prepares validity opinions and non-infringement opinions, conducts patent searches, and provides counsel and advice related to various other intellectual property issues.
Elexis prepares and presents Continuing Legal Education (CLE) courses for clients and lawyers all over the U.S. and in other countries on such subjects as:

Elexis is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and she graduated from Texas A&M University cum laude in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Elexis received her Juris Doctor in 2009 from the Southern Methodist University (SMU) Dedman School of Law. While in law school, she was a member of the SMU Law Review Association.
