Mr Funston is a technical advisor in the Firm’s Dallas office with experience in the areas of computer systems and software, as well as electrical, mechanical and electro-mechanical arts. He has additional experience in avionics systems and software.
Through service in the Air National Guard as a communications officer, Joe has gained experience in communications design, engineering and testing. With the Guard, Joe also tested and repaired avionics systems to the circuit level.
Joe’s civilian employment includes work as a software test engineer and software quality engineer in the defense industry.
Joe holds the following certifications: Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician, Cisco Certified Network Associate, and Cisco Certified Design Associate.
